How it works
Call and confirm
Call our 24/7 line on +44 7440 766267 with your registration, postcode and the vehicle's location. We confirm price and ETA before dispatching.
Mobile technician arrives
Our DBS-checked engineer arrives in a fully-equipped van usually within 30–45 minutes.
Identity and ownership check
We verify the V5C or photo ID matches the registered keeper for your security and ours.
Key cut and programmed
Using dealer-level diagnostic tools, we cut and program a brand-new transponder key to your car's ECU.
Old keys deleted
Any previously paired keys are removed from the immobiliser so lost keys can never start your car again.
Test and pay
We test the key, hand you a receipt and 12-month warranty, and you pay by card or cash.
Frequently asked
How much does it cost to replace lost car keys?
Most replacement keys cost between £180 and £300 depending on the make, model and key type. Premium vehicles such as BMW, Mercedes, Audi and Range Rover with smart keys may cost up to £450. We confirm the exact price over the phone before dispatching, with no hidden fees.
How long does it take to replace lost car keys?
From the moment we arrive, most jobs are completed in 45–90 minutes. Including travel time, you should be back on the road within 90 minutes to 2 hours of calling us.
Do I need proof of ownership?
Yes. We will ask to see the V5C (logbook) or a photo ID matching the registered keeper's details. This protects you and prevents fraudulent key copies.
Will the lost keys still work after replacement?
No. As part of the service, we delete any previously paired keys from your car's immobiliser. The lost keys cannot start the car after we have finished.
Can you replace keys for any make and model?
We cover over 95% of UK vehicles including BMW, Mercedes, Audi, VW, Ford, Vauxhall, Peugeot, Renault, Nissan, Toyota, Honda, Hyundai, Kia, Range Rover and many more. Some exotic or very new models may need a short order time for blanks.
Is this cheaper than the dealership?
Yes — typically 30–60% cheaper than a main dealer, and we come to you. You save the tow-truck fee plus dealer labour, and we use OEM-quality blanks.
