Key replacement by manufacturer

Key type, security system and programming route differ by make and year. Pick your manufacturer for what applies to your car — or send the registration and we will confirm it exactly.

Where we work

Based near Staines (TW18) and working across West London, Heathrow, Berkshire and Surrey. Outside these towns? Ask — we will tell you honestly whether we can reach you.

Questions we get asked every day

Can you make a car key if I've lost every key?

Yes, on most vehicles. We read the immobiliser data, cut a new key to your locks and program it to the car at your location. The old keys are deleted from the vehicle so they can no longer start it. Send us the registration first — a small number of vehicles have to go to a dealer, and we tell you that before you book.

Do you come to me, or do I bring the car to you?

We come to you. Everything is done from the van at the roadside, at home, at work or in a car park. The car does not need to be towed anywhere.

How quickly can someone get to me?

It depends on where our nearest engineer is at that moment. Call or WhatsApp with your postcode and we will tell you the current availability and an honest ETA rather than a made-up number.

What does a replacement car key cost?

It depends on the make, the year and the type of key. Replacement keys typically fall between £180 and £300, spare keys start from £120. We confirm a fixed price against your registration before we set off.

Why does my car say 'key not detected'?

Usually a flat key battery, a failed key transponder or an aerial/receiver fault in the car. It is often a cheap fix. Tell us what the dashboard says and what the key does, and we will narrow it down before attending.

Can you program a key I bought online?

Sometimes. Aftermarket keys vary a lot in quality and some cannot be coded at all. Send us the registration and a photo of the key and we will tell you honestly whether it is worth trying.

Standing next to the car right now?

Call and speak to the engineer directly. Have your registration and postcode ready and we will tell you what is possible and what it costs.
